Day 85

“Shattered Dreams”

For those of you don’t following my twitter timeline I will repeat it here… because of some private issues I’ll pause all of my photographic activity for a yet undecided amount of time, sry folks…

This one just had to be created…

It was hard shattering my own work. It was my first photo uploaded to my flickr pro account over 9 months ago, so it seemed appropriate to end it all where it has begun. But relax, that doesn’t mean I quit photography! It’s still the most important part of my life, actually I want to make it even more important. So please be patient with me, I will come back soon, better than ever… I just have to do some really important steps for me, my life, and everything I believe in…

I just read this quote on a blog I’m reading…. “It is better to have lived one day as a tiger than a thousand years as a sheep. ” – Tibetan saying. Well, then lets live this one day!

Sadly enough we all have to live through harsh times. But in the end, these are what makes us stronger and evolve into a better humain being.

That be said. I quite don't know why you have to take a break. Understandable since it is none of my business. One word of advice though, and feel free to do whatever you want it it:

Always stay strong. Keep your goal in mind and do anything possible to move towards it. In the process, you might shift opinions or your perspective might change.

But in the end, this are these very changes that will make you be. Life is a process of trial and errors. Successes and Fails. Joy and Sadness. Its a roller coaster of events and emotions. Take whatever passes by. Any opportunities.

Stay true to who you are and what you think is right, or not. No matter what you do, there will always be people caring and following you.

No surprise here, you are a great deal of inspiration to me and I am also thinking about starting my own 365project as I am about to make major changes in my career and lifestyle. I see it as a milestone and an opportunity.

Eagerly awaiting your return. Until then, I'll have to check in here periodically just to feed myself with the awesome things you've already posted.

    Best of regards and wishes.
    Alex.
  • Thx Alex! You're words really cheered me up in these "dark times" :-) It's mostly a "work thing", combined with a "what do I really want in life and how can I achieve it", but it all will be sorted out in 2 weeks (at least I hope it will).

I think it's great that so many people getting inspiration from my work, I never had thought of that in the first place! Photography is all about sharing, and I'll try to share even more with all of you ;-) And I can't wait to see your 365 project!

  • I hope I could to admire your shoot soon. I know it is very hard to leave your own work, but I am sure you will stat it again very soon.
    Good luck.
  • Absolutely fantastic grab of the cracks in the glass. The green hue gives a wonderful impression.
  • thx, it took me some shots to get it the way I wanted it. I also used an SB900 flash on the left side.
  • Hey there. We don't know each other, but I've been following your photos with interest lately. I'm sorry you won't post for a while.
But hey, you'll come back, won't you?
Good luck on whatever it is you've gotta do. I'll keep this blog in my Google Reader feed for when you come back. :)
  • Hi Marianna,
